Biography

Production designed around the room, the story and the audience.

Rafael oversees moving image, audio and live partnerships from development through delivery. His remit includes the Valcourt studio, the Montlior screening room and the commercial production framework for the Group’s summit programme.

He trained as a documentary editor and spent nine years making factual series for Coravia Public Broadcasting. He later ran live and digital production at Forum Meridian, delivering policy conferences across Europe and North Africa.

Since joining Montlior in 2017, Rafael has brought film and events into one production team so that a project can move coherently between a screen, a room and a recorded conversation without repeating itself.

Calm on set and in the room

His teams work with small crews, accessible production plans and a single accountable producer. Every public event has a published separation between sponsor visibility and editorial programming.
